Sun in Aries: what it says about Aretha Franklin
Aretha Franklin's Aries Sun is pure vocal power and pioneering spirit. Aries is ruled by Mars — the planet of assertion, courage, and the warrior's drive to conquer. When Franklin sang "Respect," she wasn't asking — she was demanding, with Aries fire. The sign of Aries is also about being first: Franklin was the first woman in the Rock Hall of Fame, a trailblazer who opened doors for generations. Her voice had Martian strength — it could command, comfort, and shake the walls. The Aries shadow is pride and temper, and Franklin was known for both. But the solar fire never dimmed.
