🃏 Tarot Card Meaning
Justice sits with a sword in one hand and scales in the other — truth first, then weighing. This card marks a moment when honesty and consequence come to the front: a decision that must be made fairly, an account that must be settled, an outcome now arriving from causes you set in motion earlier. Justice is not punishment; it is accuracy.
Practically, the card asks you to look at your situation without the usual flattering light. Weigh what is actually true against what is comfortable to believe, and act on the truer reading even when it costs. Decisions made cleanly now save years of correction later.
If you judged your current situation exactly as you would a stranger's, what verdict would you reach?
Reversed, Justice's scales tip. Somewhere in the situation an unfairness is being tolerated — done to you, or quietly done by you — and the ledger everyone pretends is balanced is not. Often the crooked entry is internal: a story you tell about your own role that would not survive cross-examination.
The reversal asks you to reopen the case honestly. Name the consequence you have been dodging or the accountability you have been outsourcing, and settle one account this week — an apology, a correction, a debt, a boundary.
What truth about this situation have you been ruling inadmissible?

The true place, viz. sign and degree in the Zodiack of any New Star, Comet, Stella Crinita, or Miraculous Apparition, ought to be had (if possibly it may be obtained.) If the degree cannot be procured, yet the sign wherein any such Phaenomena appears, must assuredly be known, and as near the degree thereof as may be. For though Philosophy and Philosophers teach us, that Comets have a matter or Ethereal substance, of which they are created, yet those Learned men wanting Angelical conversation are deceived. For how should it come to pass, that a rude Matter from which they say Comets are derived or created, should put the Comet into such and such a form, and cause it to be either Direct or Retrograde, or the Tail thereof to be of one colour in some Comets, and different in others, of such a magnitude, form, or length, and to vary in motion to the several quarters of the heavens, where the effects do ever most certainly succeed either for good or for ill? Therefore the secret Learning of which few of the Ancients had any knowledge is most to be adhered unto, but rarely to be communicated to Mankind; but this is obiter. - William Lilly (1602.-1681.)
