☯ I Ching Hexagram Meaning
Abundance brings success, though it favors a ruler who can sustain it, since great fullness, like the sun at its very height, does not stay at its peak indefinitely. There is no cause for sorrow in this moment of plenty, only clear awareness that abundance is a season to use well rather than a permanent condition to assume.
Thunder and lightning strike together, sound and brightness filling the sky at the same instant. A leader granted this kind of clarity should act on it while it lasts, settling disputes quickly instead of letting them drag past the moment when judgment was actually sharp.
You are in, or approaching, a season of real abundance right now — energy, resources, recognition, or fullness in some part of your life reaching a genuine high point. Abundance affirms this fullness honestly, while gently noting that peaks, by their nature, do not last forever unchanged.
This energy asks you to use this high point actively: settle what needs settling, act with the clarity this fullness gives you, and appreciate the plenty without assuming it is now the permanent baseline. Abundance well used during its season leaves something durable behind once the season naturally shifts.
What would you do differently right now if you knew this abundant season, like every season, is temporary?
There is in the Art of Astrology (which some ignorant persons are pleased to vilifie) Arcanum quoddam equivalent to Prophesy; but so distributed to man by the Almighty, that he cannot easily communicate his knowledge or conceptions therein to another, and yet it is attainable by prayer and the assistance of the Divine Genius. - William Lilly (1602.-1681.)
